The most loving action we can take is to draw someone into a deeper relationship with God. Church communities can participate with Jesus in helping make new and stronger disciples—people who live in close relationship with Jesus, follow Jesus along the Way and become more like Jesus—and in sharing and showing forth God’s love to the world. The church helps spread God’s kingdom by going, baptizing, teaching, and sharing the living presence of Jesus. A faith community helps affirm God’s presence in our lives and activities.
